Helen Delich Bentley was born on November 28, 1923. She was an American politician and a former Republican U.S. House Representative from the second district of her adopted home state of Maryland.
She was born in the tiny town of Ruth, White Pine County, Nevada, and attended the University of Nevada and George Washington University. She earned a BA from University of Missouri in 1944. She was a maritime reporter and editor of the Baltimore Sun and served on the Federal Maritime Commission from 1969 to 1975.

A Democrat from Dinuba, California, Senator Vuich represented the region for 16 years until retiring in 1992. Senator Vujich had earned a reputation for voting her conscience and did not look kindly on bill that had no value other than attracting campaign contributions for lawmakers.
Senator Vuich was a farmer from Dinuba in Tulare County, President of the Chamber of Commerce, and a tax accountant. In addition, she was a member of the Tulare County Democratic Central Committee and served on the board of directors for the Alta Hospital District, Agricultural District Fair, Commission on the Status of Women, and the National Society of Public Accountants.

George Victor Voinovich (born July 15, 1936) represents Ohio in the U.S. Senate, to which he was elected in 1998, and re-elected in 2004.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, to a Serbian father and a Slovenian mother, Voinovich earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in government from Ohio University in 1958 and a law degree from the Ohio State University in 1961.
Voinovich began his political career in 1963 as an assistant attorney general of Ohio. He then served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1967 to 1971. From 1971 to 1976, he served as county auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. In 1975, he made an unsuccessful run for the Republican nomination for mayor of Cleveland against incumbent Mayor Ralph J. Perk. .
Melissa Luburic Bean (born on January 22, 1962) is an American politician of Serbian descent who was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2004. Bean graduated from Roosevelt University and is a Democrat, representing Illinois' 8th Congressional district in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago (map). She lives in Barrington with her husband and two children. She is president of a major consulting firm.
In 2002, Bean ran against 33-year 8th District Republican incumbent Phil Crane. She lost, but gained 43% of the vote—a stunning total since she received almost no funding from the national party. The 8th had long been considered the most Republican district in the Chicago area, and according to some in all of Illinois. Bean's performance was even more stunning since the 8th had reportedly been redrawn to protect Crane. Several former Republican primary opponents and Democratic general election opponents had their homes drawn into the neighboring 10th District.

Ivanovich's paintings have ranged from the thick, textured oils of his expressionistic figures and post impressionistic landscapes, to the 'crystallized' transparency of his frozen watercolor. The majority of Ivanovich's work is painted using the revolutionary frozen technique, combining colorful realism, mystique and fantasy with a harmonious cracking of the paint pigments, reminiscent of frosted windowpanes on a cold, winter morning.
