It is a pleasure to inform you that the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation and the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization in partnership with the Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, The Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region of the Serbian Government, Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade, Serbian Medical Association, World Health Organization, and under the patronage of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine, are organising the 4th Serbian Diaspora Medical Conference 2013 at the White Palace, Belgrade, 16-18 May 2013.

After a very successful Conference that took place in June 2012 in Belgrade, Serbia, we would once again like to invite you to come and share your academic and professional experience with our medical doctors in Serbia. With your support the medical doctors in Serbia will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with their colleagues, which will benefit the people of Serbia. We thank you in advance for your participation in this Conference and sincerely hope in achieving mutual success. The main idea behind the Conference is to establish a network between the medical staff of Serbia and Diaspora, and as a continuation of the last year’s conference.

Bogdan Maglich

Bogdan Maglich (also spelled Maglic or Maglić) (born August 5, 1928 in Sombor, Yugoslavia) is a nuclear physicist and the leading advocate of a purported non-radioactive aneutronic fusion energy source. Maglich's Migma fusion would use colliding ion beams. He is the son of a lawyer and elected member of the Yugoslav Royal Parliament. At the age of 12, he and his mother were imprisoned in a Croatian Nazi concentration camp for Serbs, but they subsequently escaped.

Maglich received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Belgrade in 1951, his Master of Science degree from theUniversity of Liverpool in 1955, and his Ph.D. in high-energy physics and nuclear engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1959. Upon receiving his Ph.D., Maglich joined Dr. Louis Alvarez's research group at Lawrence Berkely Lab. During this time, he participated in the discovery of the omega meson and invented the "sonic spark chamber".
